Feature Focus: Paid Memberships with Lemon Squeezy

I'm thrilled to announce that Paid Memberships with Lemon Squeezy is now available to all Sotion users!

Monetizing your Notion content is now a breeze. Sotion's Paid Memberships with Lemon Squeezy lets you effortlessly set up paywalls for your Notion content.

It's super easy to set up:

Switch your site to Paid Memberships with Lemon Squeezy

Configure your Webhook

Configure your Lemon Squeezy Product

Done!

Whenever someone subscribes to your product, they will automatically be added as a Member on your Sotion site and receive a login link via email.

Rewind/Refresh: Three small but super useful updates

We're always making minor enhancements to Sotion. Here are three standout updates from the past month:

1. Better handling of Notion pages with (very) large data sets

Previously, Sotion struggled to properly render pages with extremely large databases. We've made significant improvements to how large data sets are handled. Your page's performance via Sotion will now be on par with your experience in Notion itself.

Moreover, Sotion can now handle the generation of Custom Page URLs and Sitemap for datasets of 30,000+ records!

You can find this under Settings → Notion → Custom Page Names & URLs

Notice any changes? We've addressed two areas: the sub-navigation when editing the settings for a site, and better support for using the browser back/forward/refresh navigation.

The layout and navigation for mobile views have been improved, with more adjustments in the pipeline.

The Sotion Dashboard's overall behavior is now more consistent, providing a smoother experience when creating and editing your sites' configuration, and better support for using the browser back/forward/refresh navigation.

3. Updated Code Editor

Long overdue, our update to the code editor improves the process of adding custom CSS and JavaScript to your Sotion sites. Instead of a standard text input, we now have syntax highlighting – a significant enhancement to your overall experience.

Next Up: Sotion v2 /aka/ Sotion Studio

We're excited to announce that we are just starting to explore what the next major version of Sotion will look like!

One of the most comon requests we receive is for Sotion to provide capabilities to build fully fledged Content Hubs. This is also know as Client Portals, Partner Portals, Membership Hubs, Data Rooms, etc.

We're thrilled to reveal that we're starting to explore what the next major version of Sotion will entail!

One of the most common requests we receive is for Sotion to provide capabilities to build fully-fledged Content Hubs, also known as Client Portals, Partner Portals, Membership Hubs, Data Rooms, etc.

We're looking into how we can address this need with features such as:

Communication and collaboration workspace for your clients/members

Interactive process flows

Fine grained, page-level, member access controls

Restrict Notion data per member

Custom content builder (pages, forms, document uploads)

Member comments, notifications, and collaboration

Member self-registration
