Product FAQ

Sotion turns Notion pages into branded client portals, membership sites and websites on your own domain, with passwords, email sign-in, per-client access and Stripe paywalls. It is for agencies, consultants and creators who work in Notion. You keep working in Notion, and Sotion handles the publishing, branding and access control.

Paste any Notion page URL and Sotion fetches your content automatically. There’s no complex setup, API configuration, or Notion integration to install.

Yes. Changes you make in Notion sync to your portal automatically. There’s no manual publish step or redeploy required.

You can protect pages with passwords, email signup gates, email allowlists, or scoped access based on Notion database properties. Each page can have its own access rule.

Scoped access automatically filters your Notion database so each member only sees rows relevant to them — based on a property like client name or email. No manual page-by-page rules needed.

Absolutely. Connect any custom domain and Sotion provisions SSL automatically. Every plan also includes a free Sotion subdomain.

You can add your logo, choose brand colors and fonts, inject custom CSS and JavaScript, and configure meta tags and OG images. Your portal looks like you built it from scratch.

Yes, for Notion. Sotion publishes your Notion pages as a website on your own domain, but it has no drag-and-drop editor: you write and lay out every page in Notion, which stays your CMS.

Pages are served through Cloudflare’s global CDN with typical response times under 100 milliseconds. Your clients get instant page loads anywhere in the world.

Yes. Sotion generates clean URLs, meta tags, OpenGraph images, and XML sitemaps automatically so your portal is discoverable by search engines without extra work.

Agencies, consultancies, service businesses, VCs, and creators who already use Notion and need to share content professionally with clients, members, investors, or audiences.

Most teams go from signup to a live portal in under two minutes. Paste a Notion URL, configure access and branding, and share the link.
