Does my Notion page need to be public?

Yes. Sotion builds the site from the published version of your page. In Notion, open the page, click Share, then the Publish tab, then Publish, and copy the link it shows. Sub-pages are published with it. Your assistant checks this first and tells you if the page is not published yet.

Why do I have to click an email?

The click proves the email address is yours. Nothing is created before it: no account, no site. The email comes from Sotion with the subject "Activate on Sotion", and its link works for 48 hours. On the finish page you can also continue with Google instead.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Your first site comes with a 7-day free trial of every feature, with no card needed. Pick a plan in the dashboard to keep it after that. If your email or Notion page already had one, the new site runs on the Basic limits for 7 days. Pick a plan in that time to keep it.

Which AI assistants work?

Any assistant that can read a web page. Coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and VS Code do the whole setup in the chat. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity check your page and details. Then they give you a link to finish on sotion.so.

What if I already have a Sotion account?

Use the same prompt with the email you sign in with. After you click the activation email, the new site goes into your team. If your plan is already at its site limit, nothing is created and the page links to your plans.

Can I change the name or address later?

Yes. The assistant suggests an address from your page title, and you can ask for a different one. After setup, change the site name, the address or add your own domain from the Sotion dashboard.

What about my branding, domain and member access?

The assistant sets up the site and makes it live. Branding, a custom domain, passwords, member sign-in and paid access are set in the Sotion dashboard. Your assistant links to it once the site is live.

Does Sotion ask for a password or a code?

No. Sotion never asks you for a password, a code or a card in this flow, and your assistant never needs one. Your only step is the activation email, or signing in with Google on the finish page.
