Frequently asked questions

What people ask when choosing between Super.so and Sotion.

Yes. Super Memberships, on the Personal plan and up, sign members in with a one-time email link, and you set each member's access tiers in a Notion database. Sotion signs members in by email too, and keeps members, groups and allowlists in its own dashboard, from Starter.

Not by itself. Super's docs say it has no built-in checkout: a Stripe payment adds the buyer to your Notion members database through an n8n, Make or Zapier automation. Sotion's Pro plan connects Stripe directly, so a purchase grants access and a cancellation removes it.

It depends on how many sites you run. Super charges per site, Sotion per account. One site costs $16 a month on Super's Personal plan and $7 a month on Sotion's Basic, which has no access control. Two sites cost $32 a month on Super's Personal plan and $27 a month on Sotion's Starter, which covers up to 5 sites with access control.

As an add-on: Super Analytics starts at $10 a month for up to 10,000 page views. Sotion includes site and member analytics from Starter, and every plan can add any analytics script through custom code.

Yes, on the Personal and Pro plans. Sotion has password-protected pages from Starter, along with email sign-in, an allowlist and access groups.

Yes. Both read your content from Notion, so nothing is rebuilt: you add the same Notion page to Sotion and point your domain's DNS record at Sotion. Custom CSS written for Super's own class names won't carry over as it is.
